So onto my projects 

I am sharing 3 cards with you today

A massive THANK YOU to Karyn as I wouldn't have been able to make these cards without her visit this week!

My first card is using the set

YOU'RE LOVELY

I love this set - anything that you add add a little watercolour too has my vote!

I have layered the sentiment stamp - by punching out the middle 

adding dimensionals to the punched out element

I have used a brown sugar card blank and inked the edges with Raspberry Ripple layered this with black and a mat layer of natural composition paper

I have watercoloured the flowers and then added crystal effects to make them glossy

you cannot really see that from the photo

Here is my second project...

For this card I have used 

SEE YOU LATER

I have teamed this set with 

GORGEOUS GRUNGE

and the small HEART STAMP

I have used the colour Raspberry Rippple

The sentiment is stamped in basic black

I have used raspberry ripple card, basic black and silver glimmer paper

for punching the little hearts

I have distressed the edges of the sentiment and mat layer with the distressing tool

Also stamping the corners with a stamp from

GORGEOUS GRUNGE

My third project is using 

BANNER BLAST and the PUNCH

I have used some of the gold sequins that will be available shortly from the seasonal mini

and also punched out some banners from the gold foil sheets that will be available shortly!

A little teaser!

I have secured the banner punches to linen thread - for this I have used glue dots

I have used the sentiment from 

EXPRESS YOURSELF

and have stamped it in brown sugar

my digital studio... is it for me??

When Stampin' Up! introduced MDS a few months ago I was unsure if this was a product that I would use and enjoy - if I am completely honest...

At convention they had it set up so we could try it - never gave it a second glance!

Have seen some of the projects that have been completed on it and have thought - yes they are nice but didn't really know if I would enjoy it!

HOW WRONG COULD I HAVE BEEN??

This week my back has been particularly bad and I have been unable to craft at my desk and cannot sit comfortably - so MDS was downloaded!

I LOVE IT

There is so much to play with... the DSP, stamps, embellishments etc! I cannot wait to have a proper play over the coming weeks from the comfort of my armchair...

So here is a little project that I created of Karyn and I beinf silly at convention - nothing new there of course! we as you know had a great time!

I hope you like the page that I have created and I am looking forward to having a play with the other features of MDS in the coming weeks

new year - new crafty challenge!

Hello

I have been rubbish at both crafting and blogging in recent months and I have decided that I am going to change that!

I am going to make a card everyday!

and I am making the commitment to blog every Wedsnesday and Sunday so that I can share with you the cards and projects that I create!

We are on day 1 and I have blogged and I have also created a card...

So here is an extra post seeing as the new year is upon us and I have neglected my blog so much!

For this card I have used a new stamp set 

GORGEOUS GRUNGE

a new firm favourite for me and I will be using it so much more in the future!

It is one of the sets that I received at Convention and this was te first time I inked it!

I have made a simple 

THANK YOU card 

today using the colurs BLACK and RED

I am entering this card in the 

JUST FOR FUN CHALLENGE - new (I have used a new stamp set)

PRESENT BOXES...

I did plan to post these a while ago 

but as usual I have been rubbish!

These are the gift boxes that I crreated for the gifts that I exchanged at Convention...

A really simple idea but they completely change the look of the box!

All I have used is a sheet of designer paper and cut it into strips

The finished box!

I have made a flower for the top of the box and secured with tombow

The 3 finished boxes that I needed
